Mouchel Parkman has taken over ServiGroup Limited for £20.67 million.
ServiGroup, founded in 1995, is based in Banbury, Oxfordshire, and provides engineering
and installation services to Network Rail among others. Richard Cuthbert, chief executive of
Mouchel Parkman said, ‘We are delighted to announce the acquisition of ServiGroup. Rail is
one of Mouchel Parkman’s core market sectors. We already provide a range of management
consultancy, professional and engineering services to Network Rail and clients serving the
London Underground. ServiGroup broadens and complements our existing offering and will
significantly enhance our prospects in what is an exciting period for the UK rail industry.’
Sean McKeague, chairman of ServiGroup added: ‘We are very much looking forward to
becoming part of Mouchel Parkman. The combined skills of a larger group (will enable) us to
play a significant role in Network Rail’s investment programme in the coming years and to
increase the work we do to help improve Underground services in London.
